This delightful boutique hotel is located in the near Casares between Estepona and Sotogrande, overlooking its outstanding golf course (home to the World Matchplay) and with views stretching out along the coast. Club de Golf Valderrama

Officially voted Europ´s No. 1 golf course Valderrama was home to the VOLVO MASTERS and has been designated host to the 1997 RYDER CUP. Designed by Robert Trent Jones and lovingly tended by owner Jaime Ortiz Patiño this is one of the continents toughest challenges. The 4th hole a par five of spectacular beauty ends on a raised green by the side of which plunges a cascade of water on its way to the greenside lake. With recent improvements to the layout, especially a Cup captain Seve Ballesteros, Valderrama is in prime condition and Mr. Patiño only aims to make it better: the 'Augusta of Europe'.

La Reserva Sotogrande

La Reserva de Sotogrande is located in a beautiful part of the heights of macro-urbanization Sotogrande, characterised by native vegetation of Mediterranean pine, olive and cork trees. The links cover 72 hectares and are 6.700 metres long, but with 5 teeing grounds at each hole they can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities. La Reserva golf course is surounded by two valleys. The layout includes four lakes, with water on six holes, though only coming into play on one. Constructed according to USGA norms, the greens can be characterised by their ample size and variety of form, the same as the bunkers. The outstanding features of La Reserva de Sotogrande golf course are the wide-open greens and generously proportioned fairways.
